About Stranger Stories

A live lit night of storytelling in Rhode Island

Stranger Stories is a bi-monthly reading series where local writers come together to share their true stories and personal essays in an intimate space. We feature first-person true-to-life narrative writing.

Want to share your story? We love to give new and veteran writers the chance to share their non-fiction writing with one of the most welcoming audiences in Rhode Island.

Read our Submission Guidelines for details on how to share and what we're looking for. Each event follows a loose theme, open to your interpretation!

Co-produced by Fallon Masterson and Judee Burr, established in 2018.
